Pasta Pomodoro

This was so good!!! April had this recipe and wanted to make it. But since she was busy writing her thesis proposal last night, I made it. The recipe can be found here, but I changed it a little.

What you need (ingredients I used):
Angle Hair pasta- I used about half a box
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped- I used the pre-chopped from Publix. It comes in a small container and I used about half of it
4 cloves garlic
2 cups roma tomatoes- I bought a small container from Publix and used all of it
1 can chicken broth- (I only had a big box so I used about 2 cups)
2 tablespoon chopped fresh basil- Didn't have fresh, so I used the basil from the spice closet
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Boil pasta according to directions
Pour olive oil in skillet over high-heat. Saute onion and garlic until they are brown
Reduce to medium-high and add tomatoes and chicken broth. Let simmer for 8 minutes
Add pepper, basil and cooked pasta. Toss thoroughly and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Add cheese (I will leave out the cheese next time. Even though it isn't a lot, it still makes the pasta stick together and it clumped on the fork).
