Corn Chowder!

Now that have some more time on my hands I have been trying to cook more. April and I make our grocery list each week and try to make at least 3 homemade meals. So I thought I would share with you all some of our hits and misses. (and there have been some BAD misses)
This week we made three great meals. Here is what I made today. Quick, easy and delicious.

When it is crisp and cool outside nothing warms me up like a nice bowl of soup. I had Mrs. Terri's corn chowder a few years ago and loved it!
Now that fall is setting in, I emailed my friend Hayley for her moms great recipe. It very simple and we had most of the ingredients in the pantry.

What you need:
2 cans of potato soup
2 cans of whole kernel corn
1 can of French Onion Soup
1 container of half and half
1 pound of bacon (I left out the bacon)

Mix everything together. You can either cook on the stove or in the crock pot. For the stove; heat and let simmer for about 30 minutes.  I used the crock pot and let it cook on low for about 5 hours and then turned in on warm. (If it is too thick you can add milk but mine turned out nice and soupy).

I tasted this a while ago and can't wait for dinner tonight!
